Getting Started
Healing begins the moment you take the first step.

The First Step
We know starting something new can feel overwhelming. That’s why we make your first step simple, personal, and focused entirely on understanding you. Whether you’re dealing with chronic issues or just want to optimize your health, we start with a deep dive into your story, your symptoms, and your goals.

Your care begins with a one-on-one Initial Consultation—no commitment, just clarity.

What to Expect:
Your initial visit lasts about 45 minutes to 1 hour. We’ll explore your full health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and past experiences to uncover patterns and root causes. This visit also includes a physical exam (when in person), time for questions, and thoughtful discussion around your goals. We finish the appointment with a clear understanding of the next steps to accomplish your goals.

FAQ
Do I need to commit to a long program?
Not at all. The initial consultation is a standalone service designed to give you clarity. If we’re a good fit, we’ll explore personalized options for follow-up care, but there’s no pressure.
Do you accept insurance?
We are not in network with insurance. We can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. We can also bill out-of-network and Medicare.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card?
Yes. Most Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) will cover consultations, lab work, and supplements.
What kind of patients do you typically see?
We work with individuals and families looking for root-cause solutions to chronic symptoms, hormonal imbalance, fatigue, digestive issues, musculoskeletal issues, and more. We work with individuals of all ages, from newborn to 90 years of age!
Are appointments virtual or in person?
We offer both options. Many patients choose in-person visits, while others prefer virtual for convenience. You can select your preference when booking.
What kinds of testing do you offer?
We offer a range of functional lab tests depending on your needs—these may include gut microbiome analysis, hormone testing, food sensitivities, micronutrient panels, mold testing, food sensitivities and allergies, and much more!
Will I get supplement or diet recommendations after the first visit?
Based on your history and findings, we’ll recommend initial action steps—which often include some sort of testing, targeted supplements, foundational nutrition or lifestyle support, or a combination of these.
How soon can I expect results?
Every body is different, but many patients start noticing improvement within the first few weeks of care. We'll review progress together and adjust as needed.
Do you work with children or families?
Yes! We are a family practice, offering patient-centered care for both adults and children, tailored to the age, stage, and unique needs of each family member. We even have special packages for families and children.
What if I’ve already tried everything?
We understand that frustration. Our approach is different—we focus on systems, patterns, and root causes that may have been overlooked, offering new insight and support. If you feel like you are at a dead end, then we are here to change that.
